So having returned from Spa, and finally got back onto a proper internet connection, I thought I would write up my thoughts, and share my favourite pictures from the weekend.

Atmosphere wise this was a really freindly event, much quieter than the nurburgring, and as has been mentioned by others, SRO events are really designed for the competitors, and people standing trackside aren't really cared for.

to that end, on track commentary was awful, a halfhourly update in French, German, Dutch and English, but not continuous commentary. Thankfully Radio Le Mans teamed up with Nismo so they were streaming their commentary. Very data intensive, but well worth it for following the race.

I stayed at a campsite down the road from Stavelot, about a 3 minute drive from the track (well worth it, as the walk was rather long). The campsite website is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ). thankfully they all spoke english, as my french is pretty non existant, and my german basically consists of please, thanks, and beer haha. The track is only about 3.5 hours from Calais, and apart from Brussels ring road, the drive was nice and easy.

Access around the track was amazing, you can spectate the entire way around the track, and having paid abit extra for paddock access, you could get on the pit roofs, which was great at night.

There was a gridwalk, and several autograph sessions which were a really nice touch, and the whole paddock felt friendly and nice. It was a great event and i would thoroughly recommend it.

Thanks. Yeah it was an absolutely fantastic time. I went on my own, but everyone on the campsite was really freindly, so made freinds for the weekend too. Really enjoyable race helped (apart from the 2 ish hours of solid safety cars)
